| Family |
Leguminosae Mimosoideae |
| Origin |
Andes Argentina |
| Common name |
Yopi, Villca, Cebil |
From very remote times, the indigenous inhabitants of various parts of South America have been aware of the hallucinogenic properties of diverse species of the genus Anadenanthera. The seeds of the tree are either ground with a mortar and pestle into a powder or moistened and rolled into a hard paste with some lime. In some areas the seeds are also smoked. The seeds of this species A. colubrina were employed as a snuff or in beverage in pre-Columbian times.
In Argentina, the early Spaniards found the Comechin Indians taking Cebil "through the nose" to become intoxicated, and in another tribe the same plant was chewed for endurance. Since these Indian cultures have disappeared, our knowledge of vilca snuffs and their use is limited. The active constituents of Anadenanthera are bufotenine and tryptamine

Nymphaea caerulea Blue Lily, ± 50 seeds
A few days after the Water Lily flower is pollinated, the flower stem tightens into a coiled spiral to bring the flower head underwater. The fruit develops underwater into a spongy berry with many seeds that are enclosed in arils. When ripe, up to 2,000 tiny seeds are released from each fruit. Young seeds float as they contain air pockets. They are then dispersed by water currents or by water birds that eat them. As they become waterlogged, they sink into the mud to germinate. The plant also spreads by sprouting from the creeping rhizomes.
The Lotus grows best in rich loam soil with 1/2 inch of rinsed gravel on top of the soil. The pot should be completely submerged in calm, fresh water.
The seed should be sown thinly, covered lightly with soil and then plunged into shallow water, no deeper than 2.5 cm, and placed in a sunny position. Germination should take 3-4 weeks. The seedlings will look like fine grass at first, developing true leaves later. When the first two or three floating leaves appear the seedling should be pricked out and planted into individual containers and immersed back in the water.

Rivea corymbosa "Ololuihqui", 25 seeds
The sacred Aztec hallucinogen " Ololiuhqui " seeds is perhaps the best kept secret from the outside world today, strange enough Ololiuhqui is widely used among the local Indians in Sierra Madre, Oaxacan Mexico.
The Semilla de la Virgen are used, for their psychedelic purposes, by the Aztec priests in order to commune with their gods. Because of the extremely fine line between effective and lethal doses, the ground seeds were only ingested by experienced persons.
Rivea corymbosa grows easily and abundantly in the mountains of southern Mexico. Today in almost all the villages of Oaxacan you can
find the Rivea corymbosa plant and the seeds still serving the natives magic moments. The plant itself is a climber, like Ipomoea violacea
( Morning Glory) and called 'snake-plant' or `coaxihuitl` in the Nahuatl language.
Hoffman reported in 1960 that he had isolated d-lysergic acid amide (LA) and d-isolysergic acid amide from the seeds of Rivea corymbosa. LA is very similar to LSD in its psychological and physiological manifestations. The seeds of Rivea corymbosa contain about 0.01-0.08% ergot alkaloids, including ergine, chanoclavine, isoergine and lysergol.
